 The
primary mission of the Camas Performing Arts Series is to bring great
artists into the local community for the enjoyment of audiences of all
ages. A second goal is to support the knowledge of, and participation
in, the performing arts. CPAS accomplishes the second mission by arranging
separate community outreach events such as student assemblies, lecture
– demonstrations and residencies in area schools, nursing homes
or for other performing arts organizations.
CPAS is pleased to report that it scheduled six school outreach programs
during the 2009 – 2010 concert season to further its goal to encourage
the knowledge of, and participation in, the performing arts. Specifically
CPAS presented:
